Student Pulse has relationships with social service providers right across the Bay of Plenty. If you’re a student of Toi Ohomai Institute of technology we can link you with a local service provider be it in Rotorua, Taupo, Tauranga, Tokoroa, Whakatane all the way through to Turangi.
We can help you consider what kind of support you need , assist you in taking the first steps to getting help and help you along the way. Our services are open and accessible to all students enrolled for study and their whanau also..
Citizens Advice Bureau
The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) try to help people to know and understand their rights and obligations and how to use this information to get the best outcomes, provide people with the confidence and support they need to take action, and work for positive social change within communities and wider society. CAB provide a free and independent service to all.
LinkPeople helps people to find and access the health, social, wellbeing and housing support they need to live well – whether that means advocating for someone to make it easier to access services, or helping them find a place to call home.
The Salvation Army offers support across many different areas including – welfare, addictions, accommodation, supporting families and senior citizens. Student Pulse has a relationship with the Salvation Army and can refer you to the appropriate service area.
