Food Rescue – LoveSoup Rotorua

Love Soup are a volunteer organisation that rescue foods from suppliers that maybe past their sell by date but still perfectly okay for consumption. Love Soup donate these items to Student Pulse who then pass them on to students in need.  We have free food to give away to students on a Monday & Wednesday from 11.30am-1pm in M Block @ Student Pulse, Mokoia Campus, Rotorua

Social Support

We have a  wide range of community support agencies that we work right across the Bay of Plenty. The agencies we work with include –

Citizens Advice Buereau, Housing NZ, WINZ, Salvation Army, Lifewise, Rotorua Community Kai and the Women’s Refuge. If you are experiencing difficulties of any form we can support you to get help.


Hardship Support

Student Pulse work with the Toi Ohomai Engagement Facilitators team to support students who are having a hard time trying to study due to life stuff.

Student Pulse works with a variety of community based social service providers right across the Bay of Plenty who provide specialist support.
